Phoenix police identify body found in canal near Dunlap, 7th avenues

Phoenix police identified Jose Jimenez, 47, as the person found in a canal near Dunlap and Seventh avenues on Sunday.

Officers responded to a call about an injured person in the canal. When they arrived, they found the body of Jimenez.

Preliminary information suggests there was no foul play, according to police.
