“American Idol” is down to the Top 5 with only two episodes left in Season 22.

Gilbert native McKenna Faith Breinholt was among the two contestants sent home Sunday night as the Top 7 performed.

Each of the contestants had to put on two performances, which tested not only their singing skills but their dance moves as well.

Ciara mentored the Top 7 as they put on a fiery and “angelic” show featuring “Songs That Make Me Wanna Dance” and Adele hits, according to host Ryan Seacrest.

Some of the hits sung in this episode were “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" by Fall Out Boy and “Long Tall Sally” by Little Richard.
