Every November, restaurants around metro Phoenix begin to offer pre-orders for Thanksgiving takeout bundles of turkey, traditional sides and a pumpkin or pecan pie. But if you're looking to bring something a little different to your holiday gathering, several Phoenix chefs and restaurants are offering not-your-usual sides, desserts and appetizers to-go.

From gourmet grazing boards to Thanksgiving la Francais or classic sides infused with Asian flavors like ginger and wasabi, these are three metro Phoenix restaurants and shops offering the most unique takeout for turkey day.

Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill 

Ling & Louie's is offering "not boring" Thanksgiving side dishes for 8-10 people for pre-order through Nov. 18 for a Nov. 22 pickup.

  • Szechwan green beans glazed with ginger-garlic soy for $42.
  • Korean cauliflower with sesame-soy glaze and spicy aioli for $50.
  • Wokin’ hot Brussels sprouts with spicy chili-soy for $60.
  • Wasabi mashed potatoes with wasabi sour cream for $48.
  • Roasted sweet potatoes with red miso glaze for $48.
  • Uncle Fu’s fried rice for $54.

For every Thanksgiving side ordered, the Scottsdale restaurant will donate a toy to military families in need through Military Assistance Mission's Operation Holiday Giving.

Mingle + Graze

Mingle + Graze is offering a Thanksgiving appetizer board for 10 made with cheeses like sage Derby, pecorino Sardo, Welsh cheddar and figgy goat; salami roses; prosciutto ribbons; fresh and dried fruits; nuts; olives; sweet treats and a box of local crackers.

Boards can be preordered online under the "Party Cheeseboards" tab or over the phone for pickup on Nov. 22 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Price starts at $150.

Zinqué

Zinqué is offering a take-away Thanksgiving a la Francais for four to six people. The Frenchy menu includes a charcuterie board, turkey leg confit, short rib Provençal, bordelaise sauce, cranberry sauce and desserts like apple tarte tatin and berry crumble along with wines by the bottle.

Orders must be placed by Nov. 20 for pickup on Nov. 22 between 4 and 9 p.m. or Nov. 23 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
