Here are 12 restaurants with Mother's Day brunch and dinner for dine-in in metro Phoenix

Show mom some extra special love on her extra special day by treating her to a dining experience that’s just her speed. Whether she craves a splurgey buffet or elegant prix-fixe feast, she’ll feel like a queen at these Valley restaurants on Mother's Day.

All menus are offered on May 9 only. Reservations are recommended unless otherwise noted.

Wigwam

Two brunch options – one buffet and one prix-fixe – await. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Wigwam Ballroom, a served buffet ($62, $22 for ages 4-12) will feature breakfast favorites, baked goodies, fresh salad assortments, shrimp and snow crab claws, pasta, desserts and carving stations flaunting seared grouper, herb crusted prime rib and wood-fired leg of lamb. At Litchfield’s from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., a three-course menu ($72) will offer a choice of starters like natural granola with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit and smoked salmon toast. Main course options include French country Benedict with poached Hickman’s egg and Kurobuta hickory ham; pan-roasted sea bass with French beans and arugula in a lemon wine broth; corned Wagyu beef hash with Yukon gold potatoes; huevos rancheros with goat cheese quesadilla, house made chorizo and refried beans; Litchfield’s monte cristo and steak frites. Peaches foster on cinnamon coffee cake; Meyers rum and vanilla ice cream; a and triple chocolate sundae made with Oaxacan chocolate ice cream, dark chocolate glaze and chocolate whip are dessert choices. Arrowhead Grill

From 4-9 p.m., the special dinner menu ($59.99, $29.99 for ages 10 and younger) will begin with choice of salad or clam chowder. For the entrée, options include an 8-ounce Delmonico, 8-ounce prime rib, 6-ounce filet, half-roasted chicken, half lamb rack, Atlantic salmon or swordfish. Maple mashed sweet potatoes, creamed spinach, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, classic macaroni and cheese, and sautéed green beans are among the accompaniments. Add classic butter cake, flourless chocolate cake or crème brulee for dessert ($5.99).

Ko’Sin, Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass

A lavish brunch ($55) will be served from 11:30 a.m-3:30 p.m. and feature seasonal offerings. Starter options include cream tortelloni made with melted Vidalia onion, sherry jus and allium blossoms; avocado bruschetta with radish, citrus, sunflower seeds and sprouts; and green apple and almond gazpacho topped with Queen Creek olive oil. Entree choices include: lemon tarragon glazed salmon with corn risotto and summer vegetable matignon; heirloom tomato tart with garlic shrimp, Queen Creek olives and a petite greens salad; and slow cooked Wagyu beef with truffle potato gratin, king trumpet mushrooms and sauce bordelaise. The resort’s pastry team will be hand-dipping strawberries in white and dark chocolate at the dessert buffet. Reservations are required.

Alter Ego, Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

From 10 a.m.-3 p.m., an all-you-can-eat brunch ($64, $35 for ages 12 and younger) will include a complimentary glass of bubbles for mom. Highlights include: smoked salmon latke; sashimi; crispy duck confit hash with frisee and Crow’s Dairy peppercorn feta; banana hotcakes with orange honey and peanut butter whip; fontina asparagus quiche; grilled lamb sirloin; pozole ramen; virtual omelet station; chocolate stout cake; and maple bacon doughnuts with espresso gelato. Dishes are made-to-order. There is a limit of two items per person at a time, with a two-hour limit per party.

From 5-9 p.m., a spring-inspired three-course menu ($48) will start with options like Kampachi crudo and vegetable ceviche; tomato soup with basil olive oil; and potato gnocchi with young zucchini sauce, pecorino and roasted pumpkin seeds. Main course choices include: campanelle with pan-seared salmon, creamy lemon sauce, leeks and asparagus; rigatoni with shrimp and tomato sauce; tagliatelle Bolognese with beef, pork and oxtail; miso cod with mushrooms, shallot and asparagus; beef roast, mashed potatoes and plantain tajadas; and a vegetable flourless lasagna. Ponder Namoura semolina cake with orange blossom syrup and pistachios, a salted caramel and dark chocolate tart, or chicha rice pudding with caramelized bananas, speculoos cookies and cinnamon for dessert.

From 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., a brunch of family-style dishes ($79, $19 for ages 7-12) will start with a variety of antipasti like iced gulf shrimp, burrata with balsamic onion marmalade, and avocado toast. Cooked to order entrée choices include crab Benedict, braised beef short rib hash with Yukon Gold potatoes, ratatouille, pan-seared Scottish salmon with herbed farro and broccolini, and wood-oven roasted beef tenderloin with honey roasted fingerling potatoes and braised local greens. The pastry chef’s dessert medley punctuates the meal.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., a three-course prix-fixe menu ($65) will feature choice of starters like house smoked salmon with dill blini and hard-boiled quail egg, chilled tomato gazpacho with blue crab and gulf shrimp, and braised beef short rib with creamy grits. Main course options include: poached eggs on focaccia with wood grilled beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes and herbed hollandaise; Arizona Desert sweet shrimp and crab Benedict with Italian bacon on focaccia; slow-braised spring lamb shank with sunny side up egg, goat cheese and yellow corn polenta; and pecan wood-grilled Florida grouper and Arizona Desert sweet shrimp with tarragon, snap peas, citrus-scented risotto and lobster butter sauce. Dark chocolate budino, lemon biscotti crusted strawberry cheesecake, and pistachio and caramelized peach crème brulee are dessert choices.
